Fox Eye Threadlift
Finally, a nick name for a facial feature that isn’t sad like crows’ feet and turkey neck. In fact, quite the opposite. Fox eyes are so named after the recent make up trend of elongating the eyes with a lift at the outer edge. The effect is fox-like, and foxy! Using threadlifts, the foxy eye look can be achieved for a much longer term than a day of make-up. Imagine that – no more smudged eyeliner to imitate the look!
Generally a fox eye thread lift will show immediate results and last 6-12 months.
Medical Injectables offer the best fox eye threadlifts in Wollongong and Orange, NSW. We use only high quality, Australian Register of Therapeutic Goods (ARTG) listed cosmetic injectables to help you achieve the look you desire.
Open Up Hooded Eyes
As we age, a lot of things start to sag. The one you never expected was getting droopy eyelids, known as hooded eyes. Or worse, only one eyelid starts to droop!
Various solutions are available, but somewhere between playing make up tricks, taping up your eyelids and going under the knife for eyelid surgery, another highly practical long lasting solution exists: thread lifts.
Your choice on how much -or any- of a foxy eye look you go for with the thread lift, but the results are great for opening up the eye and looking younger.

Each of these patients had threads inserted near the temples to lift the eyes. Some patients were actively looking to create that sexy fox-eye look, while others chose eye threads to open the eye where age has caused sagging.
The “after” photos were taken immediately following the treatment and you can already see some results. Typically threadlifts will reach their maximal effect at 3 months and last for 2 years.

Frequently Asked Questions about Fox Eye Thread Lifts
Are Fox Eye Thread Lifts Reversible?
Thread lifts are reversible, unlike a face-lift. PDO Threads can be released with Radiofrequency (RF) or subscision if required.
Will skin laser treatments cause my threads to dissolve?
It is unlikely that a superficial laser treatment would affect the threads because laser treatments keep to the surface of the skin and don’t penetrate deep into the tissue where the PDO filaments have been threaded in. However there are many energy based devices and some may affect threads in the first few months after they have been inserted.
What can I do and not do after a threadlift?
Offical aftercare is:
Apply a cold compress on the treated area if required post treatment.
- Paracetamol may be used for pain relief.
- Avoid pressure exerted on the face. Sleep elevated and on your back.
- We recommend the ‘Mint Post Procedure Support Mask’ be worn for up to 3 weeks post procedure (for cheek and jowel lift only, not for fox-eye) for sleeping to support, and to reduce swelling and discomfort.
- Drink plenty of fluids, avoid alcohol and hot drinks.
- Eat soft foods to avoid excessive chewing for 48 hours post procedure.
- Avoid strenuous activity for 48 hours. (This includes gym, running, swimming. Light exercise / walking is ok after 48 hours.)
- Avoid any activities where treated areas may get contaminated (i.e. sauna, steam rooms, gardening, cleaning, supermarket shopping) for at least 48 hour post procedure.
- No dental work for 1 month after procedure.
